The Star Wars Kid goes by the name of Ghyslain Reza. The original video was never inteded to be seen by the public, but due to bullying this tape was discovered and uploaded by classmates of Reza. He was just "swinging a golf ball retreiver around as a mock weapon" (Wikipedia) The video was originally recored in November of 2002 but didn't appear on the internet until April 2003. it was estimated that by November 2006 the video had been viewed over 900 million times, 

Lonelygirl15 was a youtube channel dedicated to the daily life of 16 year old girl named Bree, who was homeschooled and her family was a part of a strange religion. The people of the internet dug and dug around the internet for more information about this girl. They dug so hard that the world found out that Lonelygirl15 was just hoax, it was a show, Bree the main character was an actress hired directly out of college. And her boyfriend/love interest was also someone that just auditioned and got the part. There was a total of 547 episodes that were uploaded from June 16, 2006- August 1, 2008. each episode had anywhere between 10,000 views to 500,000 views during production of the show.
